It's finally time! It's finally time for a new season of Minescape Leagues!
We heard your feedback from the previous season and changed most of the league tasks to enhance the Minescape Leagues gameplay!
Season 1 rewards?
The team is currently busy finishing off the season 1 rewards and they should be given out fairly soon! These rewards contain global cosmetics and Minescape transmogs!
Season 2
This new season of Leagues also comes with unique tier rewards. Rewards that players obtain by unlocking task tiers!
The xp table is the same as last time with an xp boost of x8. Unlocking tiers awards players better xp boosters (up to x15).
The Game mode
Minescape Leagues is a seasonal mode that resets every season. Our goals with this game mode is to reach a wider Minecraft audience and bring a refreshing Minescape experience every season. Whilst this league season is fairly simple, future ones may change the gameplay more by shaping each season with a unique mechanic.
Direct player trading is disabled on leagues (Grand Exchange is available to all non ironman players).
This game mode is meant to be played by both casual and competitive players. Casuals will enjoy the fast XP rates and drops while competitive players will fight for the league leaderboard.
The game mode has a slightly different Experience (XP) chart and has an overall X8 XP boost. Early levels are X7 and end-game levels are about X12 faster.
Minescape League comes with increased drop rates and casket rates. We expect some of you to obtain 3rd age items...
It also comes with 3 possible ironman modes:
1. Normal ironman (no GE)
2. Ultimate ironman (ironman + no banking)
3. Hardcore ironman (ironman + 1 life only -> becomes ironman on death)
The Cave Of Ordeals is enabled for ironman players. However, be careful as dying there as a hardcore ironman will revoke your status.
Tiers
Each tier, excluding the beginner one, rewards players with special abilities! Similarly to the previous season, tiers contain simple and master tasks (masters being an aggregation of simple tasks).
Beginner tier
This tier contains 27 tasks for a total of 270 league points!

This tier is locked behind 190 points, contains 37 tasks for a total of 935 points.
Unlocking this tier rewards the player a tool box (ability to store 9 tools) and infinite stamina (outside wilderness and the desert)!

Unlocking this tier rewards the magic armor and x15 xp! The magic armor is a new gp draining armor that consumes gold pieces when absorbing damage. Wearing this armor whilst running low on gold pieces is a very dangerous move!
